This picture was taken a day before his injury that ended his 2007 season. I
attended training camp as a personal guest of Mike. I have been a life long
fan of the Buccaneers ever since I was a little kid attending training camp
and games at the Old Sombrero. I have seen a lot of players come and go over
the years, but I have never known just one player that to have such an impact
on the Tampa Bay area as much as Mike did. I know that there will never be another
player to put on the Buccaneers uniform and pound the rock like Mike did for
so many years. I don’t know what else this guy really has left to accomplish
as a Buccaneer. I would love to attend another game at home and watch him run
over and threw people, but I understand that at this point in his career there
is more to life then just football. I will still continue to wear my old school
orange jersey with the #40 on it as long as I live. I wish Mike and his family
the best and I would love to see the Buccaneers make this guy a permanent addition
to the Buccaneers organization. I have personally met Mike on a couple occasions
and you could never meet a nicer guy. I will never forget all the memories!!
GO A-TRAIN!!! This is a picture from training camp from left to right Brian
