We are huge bucs fans and we lucky to see Mike in action whilst on holiday in Florida in 2004.

I am a huge Alstott fan--and think the way he has been treated
this year is a disgrace!!!!!! Gruden needs to GO!!!!!

Thanks for this site--

Mark "Elvis" East

GIVE MIKE THE BALL!!!!!
Let's come out strong Dec 31 !!!!!

Sign me to the petition. Give Mike the damn ball!!!!

For all he has done for the Buccaneers, past, and present when given the opportunity, for him to not get his chance at the end of an awful year, and possibly end of his career, would be a travesty!

Keep pushing on your website, and get WDAE 620 to help. It is all we can do, and we all need to do what we can to get the point across to Gruden.

Go A-Train!!!!

Mark Owich

Hey, I'm Torey Hadden and I'm 12 years old - I have only 4 words to tell you GIVE MIKE THE BALL...that's it. Now would you just do PLEASE do it!
i gave him my tooth when I was younger and I've meet him. If this is his last year [hopefully not] give him the ball . HE HELPS US WIN THE GAMES can Coach Gruden not even see that? He pounds the rock (perhaps he should pound Jon's head instead)! So Jon Gruden listen to the fans and GIVE MIKE THE BALL!
SINCERLY
TOREY HADDEN[MIKE's BIGGEST FAN]

Please let Mike Alstott, one of the finest ever players for the Bucs,
play in his last game of his career.

Amen, Amen, and oh yeah, Amen!!!

I wholeheartedly concur with your premise!

Steven G. Powrozek, Esq.

Give Mike the ball!!!

He is a fan favorite, and proven time and again how capable he is. Let him go out in style!!! We love him.

Eileen Bloom

I could not agree with you more! Mike deserves much
better than this. For everything he has given to this
organization and the fans. I will be there on 12/31.
You can count on it!

Hi. Please add our names to the list. We will be at the game and think all ideas are great. I would love to start a fire Gruden web site. It disgusts me that he’s ruined the final part of Alstott’s career and that he has dismantled this team.

Christine Wilkinson

Christopher Wilkinson

Please add my name to this list, Mark Brousseau.

For thew past 3 years we have wasted one the greatest football players Tampa has ever seen and in the process ruined a great team.
I feel that Mr. Gruden has not used Mike due to the fact that Mike was not one of "his" boys. If it were not for the fan's support of Mike, he would have gotten rid of him the same way we has done with the rest of the Super Bowl team that has disappeared.

It has been a proven fact that when Mike gets the ball, we seem to win, but Gruden can't seem to figure that out.

So I say "Give Mike The Ball"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For God Sake Man – cant you see that Mike Alstott is the spark for this team – not Cadillac Williams – not #32 who fumbles about every other time he carries it - Can’t you feel the passion in that stadium whenever Mike gets the ball and pounds someone. You talk about pounding the rock ---- Mike IS the rock.

Gruden, I love your passion, but I hate the fact that you are such a poor judge of character. You might be great at drawing X’s and O’s, but let someone else decide who gets to touch the ball. Mike would continue to play for a couple more years if you’d show him some respect. You have virtually destroyed our team with your trades and your change in administration from Rich McKay to your friend from Oakland. You can protest and be bull headed, BUT THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING! 3 AND 10.

Chuck Grey

Dawn (Bucsfan40dl) Leo

Thank you so much for doing this. I could not agree with you more. I LOVE Mike and wish him only the best. I truly feel he got royally SCREWED !!
It's to bad for the Bucs.

Mike deserves more respect than he has been given these last couple of years. Give mike the ball especially since there as so few players on the team that can advance the ball as well as hang on to it.

Fred Rost
Bradenton, FL

Come on, Gruden--what you have planned so far this season has NOT
worked well, has it? Give Mike the ball.

Dianna and Dale Voss, season ticket holders for the lousy Bucs

Please add my name to this great list! I have watched Alstott since he became a Buc and have met him twice. A class act off and on the field. He has been treated horribly, and for a coach that called him "Mark Alstott", in his first press conference, is it any wonder? Please add my name and thanks again for this website. True fans speak every time he gets the ball and the whole country hears it!! Go Bucs!!

David J. Potts
Tampa

Please add my name to the petition. Mike is one of the original Buc’s that made me a fan. He needs to be respected for that at the end of his career

Thanks,

William J. Callaghan

Hey offensive guru.........give mike the bamn dall!!
gary trivette

I would be honored to sign this to support Mike Alstott. I am a long time Green Bay Packer fan. However I have supported to Bucs since I moved to the bay area 10 years ago. Mike is a tribute to what a great player is and more important a great person. Despite the last few season, I do believe Mike is a Hall of Famer. If he decides to play I would love to have him in a Packer uniform. I support Mike and the vans and agree that Gruden needs to go. I am embarrassed that he actually coached with Green bay under Mike Holmgrem. He is not even in the same class. Lets give Mike to Ball and hope he will continue tom play. I am glad to have been to watch him play the last 10 years.

Bryan Krieser

Sarasota, FL

Yes, Yes give mike the ball. I have waiting all year for this moment.

Virginia Fenclau St. Petersburg, Fl

Give Mike the ball on his last game, this should have been automatic for the last three years.
Mike Kierzynski

I wholeheartedly agree with your decision to start this petition and support this concept fully. As a season ticket holder I will be at the game on the 31st with my Alstott jersey and whistle ready to go. Consider this my signature and best of luck with your cause.

I AM A LONG TIME FOOTBALL FAN WHO ONLY OWNS 2 FOOTBALL JERSEYS. DAN MARINO AND MIKE ALSTOTT ------ PLEASE LET ME SEE MIKE HAVE ONE MORE GAME

THANKS
PETE BENDER

As a Buc fan for over 30 years, I am absolutely disgusted that Jon Gruden has benched Mike Alstott.l
Mike Alstott has produced more running yards per carry than anyone else, but Gruden will no give him the ball.
Mike Alstott deserves better...and so do we.

We want Gruden gone and Mike Alstott, for another year, under another manager, to prove what he can do for the Bucs.

Georgienne Kraemer
Season ticket holder for 30 years

Mike has handled being disrespected with class and
dignity. the organization should respect him and the
fans enough to give us one more day with mike toting
the ball, what do we have to lose?

Hello, as a MASSIVE loyal BUCCANEERS fan my wife and I agree that for the final game of the A-TRAIN'S career he should be allowed to run the tracks in the hardcore sense that he always does!!!!!!!!!!! Go Bucs!!! Think Smart Gruden!!! Mike Bastyr and Angel Bastyr we sign your petition to ask the Bucs to BUC up for once in the present state of the team!!! Thank you for giving us a place to be HEARD!

hello my name is kevin smith me and my wife are big buc fan and we need for everybody that signed petition to go to nfl .com and vote mike into the pro bowl as well i think this will really upset gruden as well

I would like to add my name to the Give Mike The Ball petition, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because giving him the ball increases the Buc's chances to win the game.
Oh yeh, whatever happened to Ernest Graham, is he only a pre-season ball carrier.
Your team definitely has a problem with the way Gruden uses his running game!

John Agresti

Good for you this poor guy belongs in the hall of fame but unfortunately he has been misused his entire career. If I was the coach he probably would have been out of football by now I would have run his legs off. He is what football is all about mano y mano, line up get dirty, and knock someone on his ass. I am sick of Gruden with all the shifting, motion, and slick formations he forgot what football is about. I watch my 8 yr old grandson play for the Brandon Cowboys football is about hitting. tackling, and being tough. Mike Allstott does all of this and more I remember a preseason game about 7 years ago against the jets. Mike replaced John Lynch (injured) on the punting team Mike went down covering the punt and made a devastating tackle inside the 10 it was picture perfect shoulder into the waist arms wrapped and locked under the guys butt driving with those piston like legs just like they try and teach the kids. I HAD ACTUALLY HOPED for Mikes sake he would have signed with the Steelers I know Cower would have used him Iand I would have the highlights to watch. Mike signs autographs till his hand falls off he is at virtually every charity event in town a good role model and a great football player.

Count on Me I will be yelling my head off in section 313 .

My suggestion is we just yell ALSTOTT kind of like RUDY in the movie of the same name if we yell give Mike the ball the dumb ass Gruden will run Pittman or throw to Clayton.

John O'Toole

We agree that Mike Alstott should be given the ball in every situation that he is needed.
Bucs fans
Larry and Fran Gellinger
Ruskin, FL

There is no other player on this team that raises the excitment in the crowd and fans watching. If this is the last time we ever see Mike in a Bucs uniform he should not only
be given the ball for as much as he wants it, but Jon Gruden shouldn't even be allowed on the field to watch because he doesn't deserve to watch greatness.
Please add my name to this list "Michael J. Montano"

Rick Bies ....i feel there should be a special day for mike at rjs and send him off with a crowd of alscott fans cheering for him and raise number 40 flag on the ship to say forever.

I think that you are so right dude. I think that Gruden is bringing this team down but I am very loyal to the team. I think Mike needs to get the ball more and that will help us win games. Look at our Super Bowl year alone. Well I know I signed myself up, Craig Love, but can you also sign my family because they want to join also in this. They are Ben Love, Wayne Love, Jamie Love and Linda Love.

Alstott is undoubtedly one of the greatest football players of all time. I hope the idea works, and I hope Mike will be back. He's still got it.
Steve Gash

Sign me up for Give Mike The Ball and I will be there in the Stadium on this last game (Sec124 Row H 17,18)

Please, if you have a heart, or you would like to give that one special gift
back to the fans for Christmas.. . . . . . . . Give Mike the ball !!!!!!!
How can you not see the enthusiam that surrounds the 68000 fans that crowd
your stadium ??? Or the thunderous roar that occurs every time he enters the
field, touches the ball, is pictured on the jumbotron or his name is just
mentioned. The man can play ball. He has been the reason we won games in the
past and you are the reason we do not win games now. Why ???? The fans want
to know. If it weren't for us there would be no you. So why not make us
happy and do what you know needs to be done. Give Mike the ball !! Let's go
out with a win this year. Forget whoever it is paying you off to loose (that
is the only thing that makes sense to us) because winning is what is
important to keep fans happy. We will always support the Bucs. This is not
just a financial business for us as it obviously is for you, but a sport
that we pay good money to enjoy. So we hope you have a wonderful Christmas
and a fan supported New Year. GIVE MIKE THAT DAMN BALL
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike is my all time favorite BUC, he will be terribly missed. Give him the darn ball will ya!

I live in Tennessee, but plan on making the trip down for this last game. I`ll try picking up a ticket outside, I want to be a part of this game.

I am interested in who is incharge of this website. I am Director of the Mike Alstott football camp. You can view it at www.alstottcamp.com. I have been doing this with Mike for 11 years. I would love to join your effort but also add a link to my site so interested fans can find out additional ways to work with Mike in the future. I am a football coach at Illinois State University and heard about this site on the radio.
Debbie Lamb

Mike has been one of the most productive offensive players this team has ever had! Don't give him the ball for because of pressure from the fans - give him the ball because he makes things happen and gives the team a chance to win! The guy plays with more heart than anyone else on the team. Add me to the list, Don Cravens.

Pat Graham - Bedford, NH. (Patriots season ticket
holder, but HUGE Mike Alstott fan)

Mr. Scranton,
My daughter is 6 years old. She has been watching the Bucs play since she was two years old. When given the choice between who to watch one Sunday (The Jags or the Bucs, or blue or red as I described to her at the time) she choose "red" and we've followed them ever since. She knew the number 40 before she could count to 10. Every Friday, she wears her #40 jersey with pride. This season, we were fortunate to be able to go to most of the home games. She can be heard from the tippity top of Ray Jay shouting for "Give the ball to Alstott!!!" For the Seattle game, I have purchased tickets near the pirate ship. I am taking her very early in the morning to meet her hero and see him play his last game. Thank you for making this petition. We whole heartedley attach our signatures.

sign me up and fire gruden anyway. gruden has destroyed this town, our identity (defense) and our pride, send him packing let him ruin his third town
Robert Torok

Mr. Gruden, The wind in Seattle should be reaching 70MPH TONIGHT. I don't have the NFL network so I can't watch the game. I'm sure you do! Are they running the ball??? You may want to try this in the windy city with Mike. But hey, I just spent twenty-one years in the Marine Corps, so what do I know about WAR FIGHTING!!!! My best advice- Buy a marine corps leadership manual, sharpen your pencil, and get a coordinator job in a high school. When you have learned the word "INTEGRITY," you may then be ready for college. By the way, the next time your mic don't work on the sideline, have a backup plan. BITE ME!!!!!

Jon Gruden lies to the players and the fans. He is not interested in winning games. His ego has run this team into the ground. He feels his super bowl win was not legitimate because the team that won is largely regarded as Dungy’s and Rich McKay’s. It scares the heck out of Tampa fans that he has $30 million dollars and draft picks to waste and insure this team remains the worst in the league for many years to come. He is a below average coach who’s offense has been middle of the pack at best. How can the Glaziers (who I would hope care about winning) allow him to destroy this team for years to come. No coach with such an awful record has ever been allowed to keep his job. We are tired of the excuses and the lies. When he kicked that field goal in Pittsburg, he embarrassed his players, the people of Tampa, and the NFL. It was disgusting. He has never demonstrated that he can develop players. In winning the super bowl, he was simply and offensive coordinator that utilized the talent that was in place and the defense won us a championship. His offense was 15th in the league at that point and has only plummeted since then. Ultimately he will destroy this team and move on to another job. He will blame players and the previous staff for his piss poor performance. I especially feel bad for all the players whos’s careers he is destroying.

Great job with this sight, like you I love my Buccaneers,I have never missed a game at home while mike has played.I am and will be a loyal Buc fan till I die, But Gruden has lost my support. Not because of our record ,but because of they crappy way he treats Mike.

Coach Gruden: Cadillac isn't getting it done--give Mike the chance! I love Mike & thank him the years of great football he has given to Bucs fans. It won't be the same without him. God bless Mike & his family. Elizabeth Matter-Trinity FL

Gruden is a stubborn, my way or the highway coach. Alstott is a whatever it takes, whatever I can contribute kind of player. Gruden needs to get up off of his offensive genius, and run a more simple offense with his inexperienced core! Alstott should certainly be a significant part of that offense with 10 or so touches a game, and 5 or so passes coming his way each game. Any loyal bucs fan before the days of "genius" coaching has been able to see this. It's a shame that our genius coaches can't see this too! We might even move up to 30th or so in total offense, who knows!?
PLEASE give Mike the ball! Do it for Mike and for the loyal fans of the Buccaneers!
Sincerely,
ALB

Love your website. An excellent tribute to an awesome person and athlete. Mike is still young enough, let's encourage him to come back, maybe get rid of Gruden and he will. His performance today against the Bears proves that Mike still has it in him.
GIVE ALLSTOT THE BALL THIS SEASON AND MORE!
Thanks again for your website,!

The amazing thing to me about Alstott is that he has a career 3.8 yd/carry, when in almost all the years of his career he was used mostly in 3rd and short and Goaline. Even in his prime he wasn't used properly. The Bucs had less than average QB's to counter the attack ie. Sean King, and the other team would know A-train was running...and he also ran without a FB b/c he was the FB! I think if the guy was in the right system and used as a TB he could have been a 5 yd/ carry guy in his prime.

...And the amazing thing is Alstott at 30+ yrs. still appears to be the best RB on Tampa, even when the guy playing ahead of him happens to be a 5th pick in the NFL draft! The guy is insanely good, and I'm gonna stop my chitchat right now and sign the petition!

Yes I totally agree with all of this. Please Give mike
the ball. We will be at the game. Go Bucs. Pease add
our names Robert Fleming, Diane Fleming ,Kerri Fleming

Thank you

Completely agree with you. I only hope that Mike decides to play another season but only if this egomaniac promises to play him at least a bit more than what he has since Egoden has been here.
Adrian Sicardo

hello, i'd like to have my name proudly displayed on the list
supporting big mike, he's my favorite player in the nfl, the
first who pulled me into being a buc fan.

is there any sources of info regarding why he wasn't utilized
through his career as a white jerome bettis, because he
displayed the power and heart taht could have produced such
HOF stats. some say it's the racist nfl promoting black
athletes in hb/wr/cb postions, some blame gruden for various
reasons, but i always wonder was would have been if he was
always the #1 guy instead of pittman who never really
impressed me. why didn't his load increase once dunn was off
the team, wtf happened??

My Name to be displayed: Kenneth R. Doiron

I strongly believe we would be in a lot better position if Mike got the ball at least 20 times a game.
Robert G. Seamon

Mike is a stud. I’m 6’ 250 lbs and I stood next to him and he made me look small. Give Mike Da Ball!!

Rob Hohmann

Brian Gnidovec - We don't want you to retire Mike, if you decide to do so, we will retire your number. No one will wear 40 except for Mike Alstott..Not in my heart.

Mike,

My name is Brian Gnidovec and I have been a huge fan of yours since you started.I hope, as many of the other fans, you don't retire. I don't want anyone wearing number 40, not on this team. Happy Birthday Mike.... Also, I remember you came to Sunblades Ice Arena with Alexander Solivanov last year and why didn't you and your son finish skating? I wanted to get a chance to meet you and thank you in person for all the wonderful things you have done for us, but I was a little too late..... Anyway, Thank you Mike, please keep playing strong for us. We love you man !!!!

Sincerely,
Brian Gnidovec

Eric DuBose

Thanks so much, I appreciate you doing this. Mike deserves so much better than he has gotten over the past 3-4 years. While I don't necessarily blame everything on Gruden that has gone wrong; when it comes to Mike, I flat out this he destroyed his final years of his career.
Go Bucs, and I'll be there cheering. If you would like any volunteer assistance with the site, let me know. I'll help if I can.
Thanks Dwayne!

We work hard in Tampa Bay. Give Mike The damn ball !!!!! Guys this is what we look forward to every Sunday after we have worked hard all week and we pay our freaken bills off. Sunday Mike Alstott is what we look forward to..... Give Mike the ball please.........

Dear Mr. Gruden

I watch the Bucaneers games every Sunday and on Mondays as they play. I am very disappointed that Mike Alstot has not been playing that much. Let me tell you, you have gotten rid of all your good players and put these rookies on your team and now the only good player you have left you never let him play.

MIKE ALSTOT NEEDS TO BE GIVEN THE BALL!!!!!!!!

YOUR FANS ARE TIRED OF YOU NOT LETTING YOUR GOOD PLAYERS PLAY AND MAKE THE PLAYS THAT YOUR TEAM NEEDS. YOU PLAY THESE GUYS THAT JUST NEED HELP( I SAY IT IN A NICE WAY). IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GET ON MY HANDS AND KNEES AND BEG MR. ALSTOT TO STAY WITH THE BUCCANNEERS ANOTHER YEAR CAUSE YOU NEED HIM…… WITH OUT HIM YOU WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER MAKE THE NFL CHAMPIONS.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GIVE MIKE ALSTOT THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rick Bosse

As a fellow Purdue alum, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching Mike Alstott during his college and pro career. Certainly, nobody has given more effort over an entire career devoted to a single team.
Please let him go out on a high note as the primary ballcarrier. If he hasn't earned that privilege, nobody has.

It has been a privilege and sheer pleasure to watch you. There is hardly a bigger thrill in the NFL than to see you run into the secondary and watch the opposing team try to tackle you as you run them over.

Best Wishes to you and your family.

It's a disgrace if Mike doesn't get into the Hall of Fame because of Jon Gruden's Ego. It's a shame that being a Buc Fan seems like your opinion doesn't matter in the Bucs Front Office/Glazer's. I would like to think if enough people get together they can undo the injustice being done to one of the most clasiest guys in football. Not only does he give back to our community day after day. He's a true Teammate and Professional. If Gruden does not respond to the fans in the final game, he should be fired! Also it scares me what Jon will do with all that money next year, proving that his evaluation of talent is not even close to being at a professional level at which is expected of a Coach making 5 million a year.

Michael Janisch

Please add my name, I can not believe Gruden denies the paying fans an opportunity to see this Great Throw back era player, like Zonka a chance to thrill us. Gruden must go he is awful. Mike runs for 17 yds and he is pulled. I don’t get it.

Ron Johnson

Give Mike he ball, spread formation, single tailback, always gets at least 4
yards in this formation.
Dunce Grunden can see it, just doesn't want to have to explain why he's
screwed Mike over.

Tom Bruno

Of all the football players I have watched, there are few as dedicated as Mike. He gives 110 % in every play he is involved in. I will hate to see him retire, but all good things must come to an end sometime. I am sure he will continue to do his best to make the Tampa Bay area a good place to live. Football and the Bucs is not the only thing he has given wholeheartedly to. I wish him and his family the best and again, Thanks Mike for making the Bucs enjoyable to watch when you are in the game. JoAnn Wolfe

Mr. Gruden,
I'm not a true Buccaneer fan but as a Boliermaker Fan I have followed Mike's career and was excited for the city of Tampa when you were named their coach. You've done some wonderful things for the Bucs. You have some to the best fans in the game. Here is your opportunity to give a little something back to them. GIVE MIKE THE BALL!

Craig Martin

I Agree... Give Mike the Ball...
I'll be there wearing #40 and blowing an original A-Train Whistle... section 147, row H, seats 18 & 19.

Great idea! As a longtime Buc fan, I find myself screaming at the screen week after week, "Give Mike the ball already!" When they do, great things happen. I agree also FIRE GRUDEN AND ALLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeff Hacker (SRQ BUCFAN) We love you Mikey! Thanks for being someone I am proud to have my kids and grandkids look up to!!!!!!!!! You are one of a kind!!

THIS SITE ROCKS!!! LETS SEE, 3RD AND 1 AND WHO DOES GRUDEN GIVE THE BALL TO? THE SMALLEST GUY ON THE FIELD, CADILLAC WILLIAMS. NO GAIN!! NOTHING AGAINST CADILLAC, BUT WHEN YOU HAVE THE A-TRAIN ON YOUR TEAM, THIRD AND 1 IS A GIMME. REMEMBER THE VIKINGS GAME WHERE ALSTOTT TRIED GOING OVER THE TOP OF THE PILE, BUT NO GAIN, CAME DOWN AND BACKED 4 VIKINGS DEFENDERS IN THE ENDZONE FROM 4 YARDS OUT!!! THE BEST 1 YARD TOUCHDOWN I HAVE EVER SEEN!! BUT FOR SOME STRANGE REASON, GRUDEN JUST DOES NOT GET IT. AND I PRAY TO GOD THAT THE GLAZERS GET RID OF HIS SORRY ASS THIS YEAR. ANOTHER PLAYER WHICH GRUDEN DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO USE PROPERLY, OR BETTER YET AT ALL, IS MAURICE STOVALL. HE FINALLY PUT HIM IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND WOW FIRST CATCH FOR 18 YARDS. John Holdway please add my name to this as I have been a fan of Mike's
Since the redskin playoff game when he broke 8 tackles to score a
touchdown after Brad Johnson fumbled the snap of a field goal. Thanks
again. John Holdway

Mike has been poorly used the last few years. Mike, if I were you I wouldn't return. To put all that work and training into the preseason only to get the ball a couple of times a game! How frustrating for Mike.
GIVE MIKE THE BALL

Mike Alstcott is one of the best fullbacks ( backs) to play the game.
he reminds me of Larry Csonka who played for the miami dolphins in the 70s
i played fullback in high school and college and i love how he runs over people and has enough speed to run around people sometimes. It's a travisty that he hasn't had the ball more this year and last. He is the epitamy of a Buccaneer and he should be in the HALL OF FAME one day. for now GIVE MIKE THE DAMN BALL.
GO BUCCANEERS BEAT SEATTLE!!!!
GO MIKE!!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES
BEST OF LUCK!!!CHUCK COGGIN
P.S. HOPE YOU PLAY ANOTHER YEAR

My name is Austin Clark, and I love in Ontario, Canada. I've been a Tampa Bay Bucs fan since the age of 7, and haven't turned my back a single time. I've somehow managed to see 95% of all games, even though none are broadcasted here. I've never actually been to Raymond James Stadium for a Bucs game, but I did see the Ravens kill the Giants in the super bowl. I've been to 5 Bucs games, being in Detroit, Cleveland and New York. My favorite player... you guessed it, Mike Alstott. I'm sure you've gotten plenty of e-mails regarding 'superfans' of the Bucs, and of Mike Alstott, so you may not get time to read this. I just want to let you know that Mike Alstott, in agreeance, is an excellent fullback, a superb character for the Tampa area, and it's a shame he doesn't get the ball that much. I did like that Browns game lastweek, he got plenty of carries. Anyways, to sum this up, I'm a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, I can't go a day without wearing some form of merch. I'm pleased with the job you did on creating the site, it's an excellent idea, and many people have also embraced it as well.

Go Bucs!

Austin

PLEASE put my name on the petition! I have been a BIG Mike Alstott fan since 1997, and I want to see him play MORE! HOPEFULLY, this WILL NOT be his LAST game in the Tampa Bay area! I WILL be wearing one of my #40 shirts WITH PRIDE this Sunday to SUPPORT ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE BUCS!

Michael G. Williams

Please add our names to your petition to Give Mike the Ball. Maybe if this petition is successful Mike will see how much the fans care for him and want to return for another year and that would be GREAT.

I'd like to add my name to the petition to give Mike the ball. He's such an
awesome player and I hope he decides to continue playing football for the
Bucs!! He's awesome and really is a good representation of what a football
player should be!!

No matter what happens I hope your next petition is to have Alstott placed in the Hall of Fame. And of course there could be one to fire Gruden ;o) and better yet bring back Tony Dungy since we all know it was Dungy's team that Gruden took to the superbowl and single handedly ripped apart. I think the petition you started is awesome, I just wished I'd heard about it early enough to have my signature counted. I hope it works, either way thanks for trying!

Mike Alsott is the best fullback in Bucs history and he deserves to be treated like the true champion that he has shown he is on and off the field. My son was lucky enough to meet him at a charity golf tournament in Sarasota and he also attended his football camp.

Please don't retire Mike!

Gruden play the best back that you got!

I will wear my #40 Jersey today for the game, at home in France. Even if the game is not on TV, I hope to have some game break on the Raiders-Jets game to see some actions. Unfortunately I can not choose what is broadcasted (d#####).
Go Mike. Go A-Train.

Please add my name, (Amanda Morgan), and my 18 year old son’s name, (Brian Morgan), to the petition for Mike. We’ve met him in person before at some golf outings and my son has a picture taken with him! It’s of course framed and hanging on his wall in his room! Thanks, and keep up the good work on the website.

Please add my name to the list: Cindy Duffy!! He is my football HERO!! and he is a wonderful example for my children! Love for what he does and a lot of hard work... I hope they play him all day!!!

Mike is what football should be to all of the players, they need to take a lesson from him. He is all that is good ; thoughtful, hardworking, kind ,and giving all that sports used to be. And we all love him please keep him on if he would stay. I am a 67 old year grandmother and love to watch football especially Mike. He is my favorite and always was, Gruden needs to clean up his act its a family sport and we all can read lips and if he would have played Mike they probably would have done much better in their running game. We like Mike. We need Mike. We love Mike. Please keep Mike.

I want to sign the petition to give Mike the ball. However, I say
give Mike the team. Get rid of this sorry unappreciative so-called
coach we have. He is the reason for this bad year, he has destroyed
the entire teams morale by the way he yells and treats them. By the
way his little chuckie scowls and faces have not been amusing for a
long time and Dungy NOT Gruden brought our team to the superbowl
win. PLEASE Mike don't leave us.

Come on Gruden, how did you expect Mike to be a force in the game when you didn't give him the ball enough early to get a feel for the game. Until today I have been a very strong supporter of you even when I disagreed with what you were doing with the team. This was Mike's last game and in the big scheme of things had no meaning for the team or the season. Why in the hell when the team was in the Red Zone didn't you allow Mike to pound the ball? You owed him and this community that much. You have allowed your ego to become greater then the team. As I am sure a coach told you somewhere along the way, no one person is greater then the team. Either check your ego or get out of Tampa Bay before you totally destroy what so many people have worked so hard and so long for. If it was up to me, you and Allen would be out of here today.

Happy Frickin New Year
